Coöperatief Koninklijk Tuinbouwcentrum Horticoop is a so-called UA cooperative. These Dutch initials stand for Liability Excluded, meaning that the members are not liable for any shortfall of the cooperative, should such be incurred.
Horticoop has approximately 280 members, almost all of whom are Dutch horticultural businesses. In addition, a number of German horticultural businesses are also members. The members are represented in a Members Council, which is the cooperative's highest body.
The cooperative has a professional and experienced investment team of 7 people who take who supervise the investment processof the investment process and advise the Members Council about its investments.
